
Eva Schaessens
Eva Schaessens is the Communications Officer for the institute. She has a BA in Public Relations from Bournemouth University and brings over seven years of experience from University College London (UCL), where she held communications roles across public health, engineering, and epidemiology.
Her work spans stakeholder engagement, digital strategy and translating complex research into accessible narratives. At UCL, she led the Women’s Health campaign, which kindled her interest in highlighting underrepresented health disciplines and promoting research that drives better outcomes for future generations.
Her expertise includes strategic communications, digital content, research translation, and public engagement in health and education. For IfP, she will manage our social media channels, coordinate events, promote research/activities and knowledge mobilization.
